Villa Cipressi is a beautifully restored, spacious barn on two floors. It has lovely decor and furnishings, which are a mix of elegant and rustic. The ground floor is made up of large, spacious interconnecting rooms that have several large arched French windows opening onto either the patio or garden and have traditional features of chestnut beams and terracotta floors. There is a large covered patio for "al fresco" dining and a very large private garden and pool. It is a great base for exploring the city of Lucca, the Tuscan coast and the mountain area around Barga and Garfagnana. It is also within easy reach of Florence and Pisa.

Villa Cipressi is a perfect location if you want a quiet, peaceful country location that is close to a local village (1km) and within easy reach of Lucca (20km), Pisa and the coast (40km). The rennissance city of Florence is 60km and there are trains from the local station at 5km.

SLEEPS 10+2

Villa Cipressi is a beautiful house on two floors and has many traditional features typical of Tuscan barns such as the criss-cross detailing on the outside walls and large arched doorways. These features have been used to create a beautiful barn conversion, combining many unique original features including chestnut beams, tiny peephole windows and main rooms full of light from large arched French windows. The ground floor is exceptionally spacious and is open plan with several interconnecting rooms that all open onto the patio or garden. The owner has decorated and furnished the house with top quality fixtures and fittings and some lovely antique pieces. The interior décor is very tasteful and reflects the style of the house with a mix of both country style as well as more elegant features such as beautiful glass chandeliers.

GROUND FLOOR

The main entrance is into a living room with open fireplace, high ceiling, satellite TV and a first floor gallery. It has a very spacious kitchen/dining room with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave and a large French window to the patio. Also on the ground floor is a second lounge with open fireplace, pretty glass chandelier and arched window to the garden. There is one bathroom with bath and shower and one double bedroom with French windows onto the garden. Being on the ground floor it is also suitable for disabled persons.

There are a total of 4 bedrooms plus a gallery with 2 days beds on this floor. There are 2 twin bedrooms and 2 double bedrooms. One with a pretty four poster bed and the other with a beautiful antique bed. Both rooms overlook the garden.
There is a first floor gallery with a study and two comfortable single sofa beds overlooking one of the living rooms for extra guests. On the first floor there are 3 bathrooms with showers. One of the bathrooms is suitable for small children as the wash hand basins are at a lower level. There is also an upstairs hall with a washing machine and laundry area.
