Villa Cedro is a beautiful villa on three floors located in the countryside just outside of a small town. Due to Villa Cedro's location on the top of a small hill, it is thought that the villa was once a look out tower for a nearby castle. Villa Cedro was later transformed into a family villa and was once owned by the renowned Medici family from Florence. The villa is set in a well maintained garden with its own private pool (heated on request) aand outdoor hot tub and enjoys views to the surrounding countryside and towards the local town. The local town has a variety of shops, as well as a supermarket, restaurants and bars. The architect owner has restored Villa Cedro with great style and attention to detail. The house is superbly equipped for a large group.
Villa Cedro is a perfect base, for exploring Florence (50 mins) and Chianti. It is also within easy reach of and Arezzo (30 mins) and Siena (1 hour). It is also walking distance to the local town at 700 mts with all amenities.

Villa Cedro is a spacious house, which is perfect for a large family group. The villa has been  restored by its architect owner with great flair. It has been furnished using top quality fixtures and fittings and is very stylish. It retains the original feel of a Tuscan farmhouse but has been restored to provide every modern convenience. The villa has a wonderful elegant feel to it with many individually selected and handcrafted pieces by local craftsmen.

GROUND FLOOR

On the ground floor the main entrance is into a hallway that leads through to an exceptionally spacious living room / dining room and upstairs to the top floor. The spacious living room / dining room has an open fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, stereo CD player. The living room has been very elegantly furnished with handcrafted pieces that have been specially selected. There are several large glass doors leading onto the garden. The formal dining area has an original vaulted ceiling and has a large dining table for up to 12 guests.
The large professionally equipped kitchen has a central work area with large hob and two ovens, microwave, dishwasher, and a large fridge. There is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with shower.

FIRST FLOOR

A staircase leads from the downstairs entrance hall to the first floor where there is a second lounge area with open fireplace and satellite TV. There are 5 bedrooms on the first floor and a further bedroom in the tower. On the first floor there are two twin rooms (one can be made a double). These two twin bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. There are three double bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom with bathtub and handheld shower attachment, one has an en suite bathroom with shower and the third has a bathroom just across the hallway with a double sink, shower and bathtub (shared with the tower bedroom). All bathrooms have hairdryers. Also on the first floor is a well-equipped study with two computers, printer and wifi internet connection. (Wifi is available all over the house)
All bedrooms on the first floor have air conditioning and all bedrooms also have screens on the windows.

TOWER

There is a further pretty twin bedroom located in the second floor tower room, once a medieval look out tower. It has windows on three sides and provides a 360 degree view. It shares a bathroom on the first floor landing.

OUTDOORS

The house is set in large grounds (2 hectares). The house is set on the top of a little hill so the garden extends down the slopes into pretty olive groves and orchards. As one of the past owners was an expert in botanics the garden has some rare species of lime trees from the Lebanon, ancient cypress trees, and a variety of fruit trees as well as olives. The pool area is located close to the house on a sun terrace and can be accessed through glass doors in the ground floor living room / dining room. The pool is 4 x 8 mts (heated on request), there is an outdoor hot tub (on request) and an outdoor BBQ for eating at the poolside. There is also a traditional wood oven so you can enjoy a wonderful pizza evening in the luxury of your own villa. The villa has 2 al fresco areas for dining outdoors and a lounge area with panoramic views.
