Villa Antonello is a pretty stone farmhouse on three floors located in the countryside close to Cortona. The farmhouse dates as far back as 1781, a date that appears on the villa’s original wood oven. It is set in a large garden with pool and has views over the valley. The farmhouse has been carefully restored using traditional materials throughout and retaining its country character.
Villa Antonello is in a perfect location to explore the wonderful hillside town of Cortona (4km) as well as Lake Trasimeno with its tiny islands. Umbria is an easy day trip with its many historic towns and cities and there are a variety of well known wine towns all within easy reach, including Montepulciano and Montalcino famous for it rich Brunello wines.

Local Tourist Tax: €10 per person over 12 years of age, payable in cash on arrival.

Security Deposit: €500 payable in cash on arrival, which is held and refunded on departure

Villa Antonello is perfect for a family group, it has been restored using traditional materials and there are terracotta floors and beamed ceilings throughout. Set in a large garden, it has panoramic views over the valley.

GROUND FLOOR

The villa is on three floors, and sleeps 8 guests. It also has a small independent single bedroom with bathroom that is available on request (extra charge). The ground floor includes an entrance, adjoining dining room and kitchen leading to a large terrace with a dining table for 12 and countryside views.

FIRST FLOOR

On the first floor there is the living room with access to a small covered veranda, one double bedroom, and a second double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Bedrooms have air con.

The house is set in a large garden with panoramic views. The private swimming pool (3.5 x 7.5 mts) is situated amongst terraced olive groves directly overlooking the Val di Chiana below. There are several covered pergolas, terraces and patios around the villa to relax, enjoy the views and dine outdoors.
