Villa Verdolino is a pretty stone villa, situated in the countryside close to Cortona. It has  a large garden and a private pool, jacuzzi, spa area and an outdoor kitchen. The views from the garden are wonderful and it is a short drive into Cortona, which is a lovely hill town with pretty views and a wide varierty of bars and restaurants. Being in southern Tuscany it is also perfect for visiting Umbria, Lake Trasimeno (the only Lake in Tuscany) with its tiny islands and towns along the lake and there are many renowned wine towns such as Montepulciano and Montalcino all within easy reach, not to mention the spa towns of Chianciano Terme (41km) and San Casciano dei Bagni (72km). The renaissance city of Florence is also easily accessible by train.

Prices include:  Electricity/air con up to 200 KW per week, water, kitchen gas,  linen & towels (changed weekly), WI FI 

Not included:  Electricity/air con over 200 KW - metered, heating (gas) - €4.5 per m3

Local Tourist Tax:  €10 per person over 12 years of age. Payable in cash on arrival.

Security Deposit: €500 payable in cash on arrival and refunded on departure.

This pretty villa is perfect for a family  group. It has been restored with care and is located within easy reach of Cortona. Villa Verdolino is in an exceptional location, very secluded, surrounded by olive trees and only 15 minutes drive from Cortona. Whilst it retains much of its original character,  wooden beams, terracotta floors and a large stone fireplace, it has been simply but exquisitely renovated with luxury finishes to bedrooms and bathrooms. There are 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms to accommodate up to 10 guests. It also has a stunning spa, jacuzzi and pool.

The villa is on 2 levels: The ground floor has -

FIRST FLOOR

On the first floor there is -

OUTDOORS

The villa is set in a large garden with pretty views and a private pool and jacuzzi. There is also a glass walled spa room featuring a sauna, hydromassage, and chromotherapy. Outside there is a well equipped kitchen with a wood oven, BBQ, sink and alfresco dining area with magnificent views of the surrounding hills.
