Villa Tramonto is a large, restored farmhouse located in the countryside in Chianti close to a tiny hilltop village and 20 mins south east Siena. The farmhouse is set in a large garden with pool and has lovely views to the hills across the valley and other tiny hilltop villages dotted around the rolling hills. The interiors of this wonderful farmhouse are furnished in style. The farmhouse has been restored using terracotta floors and has chestnut beams throughout.
Villa Tramonto is a perfect base, for exploring Siena, the beautiful “Crete Senese” and Chianti. It is also within easy reach of Florence (65km), Arezzo (34km) and there is a fabulous spa town with 2 natural spas open all year at just 10 mins drive.

Not included: Heating - €700 per week,  extra maid service - €15 per hr/per maid (min 2 hours), change of linen & towels - €30 per room, change of bathroom & pool towels - €15 per room, first grocery shop - €70 - €90 plus cost of the food - payable in cash on arrival, cook service on request

Local Tourist Tax: €2 per day per person over 12 years x 7 days. Payable in cash on arrival.

Security Deposit: €1,500 payable in cash or by card on arrival, which is held and refunded on departure



VILLA DESCRIPTION

SLEEPS 18+2

This property is made up of a large stone farmhouse and two adjacent cottages. The whole property has been restored to a high standard and retains many traditional features. The main farmhouse provides a high standard of accommodation for up to 14 guests in 7 bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. The cottage has a further 2 double bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms. The property sleeps up to 18+2 guests in 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. 7 bedrooms can be made twins on request.
Guests can also relax and unwind in the wellness suite located in a little cottage in the  garden. It has a sauna, relax area and views over the garden


GROUND FLOOR

The main entrance is into a very spacious open plan living room with a study area to one end. There is a large open fireplace. Off the living room is the dining room to seat 20 with a large table suited to a big group and the kitchen with a double sink, large 6 ring gas hob and grill plate, double oven, dishwasher, large fridge / freezer and access to the side garden.
Off the centrally located hall are 2 double bedrooms each with en suite shower rooms, one has access from the garden and the other also has a small study. The laundry room with washer dryer, sink and drying rack is also off the hall. The staircase leads from the hall to the first floor where there are several large bedrooms to the front and rear of the house.

COTTAGE

In addition to the main farmhouse that sleeps 14 there is also a pretty adjacent cottage that has been carefully restored to provide a further 2 double bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms with showers.

WELLNESS SUITE

There is a second cottage, which houses a wellness suite with a sauna, relax area and views over the garden. It has direct access from the garden.


OUTDOORS

The villa has pretty views from both the Villa and garden. Views are over the valley below and across to the hills opposite. The pool area is gated. The pool (12 x 6mts) is to the front of the Villa and the garden has open views in all directions. There is a large outdoor dining area and a covered pergola at the pool, which is furnished for relaxing. There are fabulous sunset views across the valley in the evening.
