Villa Tania is a beautiful, historic villa close to Florence (15kms). Originally built over a tower dating back to the 11th century and then enlarged into a villa in the 18th and 19th centuries, it has been renovated to provide a comfortable villa sleeping 18 , full of charm and style. It is elegantly furnished, which reflects the historic character of the villa and includes a number of beautiful antique pieces. The villa has a large infinity pool with fantastic views. A lovely formal Italian garden completes the property, which has wonderful views over the countryside with Florence in the distance.
This is an ideal property for a large group who want an elegnant country villa, which is within easy reach of Florence for day trips.

SLEEPS 18

GROUND FLOOR

Large entrance hall, a dining room which leads into a large, fully equipped kitchen. A sitting room with satellite TV leads onto the front terrace and a guest bathroom. To the left of the entrance is a second living room with parquet floor and fireplace. Further on a decorated sitting room leads into a spacious dining room with coffered ceiling and a fireplace and an embellished terracotta floor.

The villa second floor includes 2 reception rooms, a larger sitting room and a smaller reception room with treadmills and access to a loggia.

BEDROOMS

The villa has 9 bedrooms, all furnished in Tuscan style and with unique antique pieces, tiled or wooden floors and a few have a lounge area and fireplace. The bedrooms are over the 3 upper floors of the villa.
​All bedrooms have: Wi-Fi access, air conditioning, heating, hairdryer, toiletries.

3 x Deluxe Superior Rooms:
1: Very spacious twin bedroom (can be made a double). Possibility of adding a third bed and/or a cot. Overlooking the garden. This bedroom also includes an adjacent lounge with a fireplace. It is elegantly decorated with a parquet floor and bathroom with shower

2: A super spacious twin bedroom (can be made a double).  Possibility of adding a third bed and/or a cot. This bedroom also includes an adjacent lounge with a fireplace. It is gracefully decorated, with a parquet floor and a spacious bathroom with shower over the tub.
 
3: Very spacious double bedroom with king size bed, tiled floor and a bathroom with shower over the tub.

2 x Classic Rooms:
Two spacious twin bedrooms can be made doubles (20 sq mts). Possibility of adding a cot. The rooms are furnished in a country Tuscan style with parquet floors and have a shared bathroom with shower over the tub.

3 x Junior Suites:
1: An elegant smaller suite, set apart from the other rooms. It has tiled floor and a bathroom with shower over the tub.
 
2: A pretty smaller suite, set apart from the other rooms,  embellished with tiled floor and a beautiful bathroom  with both a shower and tub.

3:  This fairytale double bedroom has a splendid truss roof and a private bathroom with shower

1 x Suite:
Mavellous room with a great view and a four poster King size bed. Possibility of adding a third bed. This recently renovated room has a very large bathroom with both a shower and tub. Possibility of adding a third bed.

OUTDOORS

A beautiful, Italian garden designed by the architect Cecil Peincent, the same garden designer who created the gardens at Villa Gamberaia in Settignano. Large infinity swimming pool with views over the valley and vineyards (12 x 6 mts). The pool has loungers and there is outdoor furniture in summer. There are various wonderful areas for relaxing and enjoying the grounds and marvelous views.
