Villa Loretta is a beautiful villa, which forms part of a  historic Tuscan Borgo. This aristicratic villa has a lovely view of the 10th century Castle of Lari. The borgo overlooks the valley and the villa has a large garden, terrace on three levels, pretty rose bushes and centuries old olive groves. The villa is superbly furnished and decorated with style.
The main feature of this wonderful villa is that it is walking distance to the village where there is a choice of restaurants, coffee bars, plus two extraordinary butchers specialising in organic meat, salami and cheeses. In addition, there is a artisan ice cream maker. The medieval village is famous both for it's beauty and history, but also for its production of cherries, the quality of which are celebrated in an annual festival. But Lari is also well known for pasta production by MARTELLI, that you can find internationally in Dean & Deluca in NY, Fauchon in Paris and Harrod’s in London to name but a few. The castle, located in the middle of the village, offers truly remarkable views and is also full of Florentine and Pisan family crests that speak of its magnificent heritage. Lari is in a wonderful position, in the “ triangle” between Pisa, Florence and Lucca, making it perfect for day trips. Lajatico, the birthplace of Andrea Bocelli, is just few kms away and the singer spends a lot of time in the area. 

Villa Loretta is walking distance to village amenities, which includes a restaurant, pizzeria, bar and grocer's and is within easy reach of Pisa (30km) and the Tuscan coast for day trips.

The villa overlooks the valley with a stunning view of the castle and was once inhabited by friars. The surroundings have remained untouched so that guests can experience the true Italian atmosphere, as it was centuries ago. The villa has two entrances; one from the borgo with its easy walk into the village and another from the main gate and the garden. The large garden and extensive grounds boast olive groves and many cherry trees. There are three terraces on different levels, including many shaded areas where you can relax while enjoying the scent of old French roses and lavender, that unique combination of sensory delight that is at the very centre of genuine Tuscan life.
The pool can be heated on request (12 mts x 5 mts) and  there is a 9 hole putting green for golf lovers.
