Villa Limonaia is an elegant, stylish villa, situated in the countryside close to Cortona.The villa sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms,. It has  a large garden and a private pool. The views from the garden are wonderful and it is a short drive into Cortona, which is a lovely hill town with pretty views and a wide varierty of bars and restaurants. Being in southern Tuscany it is also perfect for visiting Umbria, Lake Trasimeno (the only Lake in Tuscany) with its tiny islands and towns along the lake and there are many renowned wine towns such as Montepulciano and Montalcino all within easy reach, not to mention the spa towns of Chianciano Terme (40km) and San Casciano dei Bagni (61km). The renaissance city of Florence is also easily accessible by train.

Prices include:  Electricity/air con up to 200 KW per week, water, kitchen gas,  linen & towels (changed weekly), WI FI 

Not included:  Electricity/air con over 200 KW - metered, heating (gas) - €4.5 per m3

Local Tourist Tax:  €10 per person over 12 years of age. Payable in cash on arrival.

Security Deposit: €500 payable in cash on arrival and refunded on departure.



VILLA DESCRIPTION

SLEEPS 10

This pretty villa is perfect for a family  group. It has been restored with care and is located within easy reach of Cortona. Villa Limonaia is in an exceptional location and only 10 minutes drive from Cortona. Whilst it retains much of its original character,  wooden beams, terracotta floors and a large stone fireplace, it has been simply but exquisitely renovated with luxury finishes to bedrooms and bathrooms. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms to accommodate up to 10 guests. It also has a large garden and pool.


GROUND FLOOR

The villa is on 2 levels: The ground floor has -

  • Double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom
  • Fully equipped kitchen with oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, kettle, American coffee machine, dining table
  • Access to the limonaia, which is used as the main dining room.
  • A large dining table with 10 seats can be found in the limonaia.

FIRST FLOOR

The first floor has -

  • 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms
  • Additional living room.
  • The 4th and 5th bedrooms are located in the annexe and they share a private bathroom.
  • The villa has a total of 3 living rooms making it the perfect location for large groups of people.

OUTDOORS

The villa is set in a large garden with pretty views and a private pooi.  BBQ, and alfresco dining area with magnificent views of the surrounding hills.
