Villa Geranio is a pair of restored cottages on a large country estate close to Lucca. The estate dates back to the 17th century and today still produces its own olive oil and wine on the 50 acre farm. The cottages sit within a wonderful walled garden and were originally used to store lemon trees in Winter. They are set in lovely gardens and there are pretty views. They enjoy a private garden and private pool that is fenced and gated.
This property is handy for the local village at 1.5km and just a hsort drive into Lucca , a gorgeous walled city with great shopping and a large variety of bars & restaurants. Pisa and Florence are alwo within easy reach for sightseeing. If you'd rather enjoy a day at the beach, the Tuscan coast is approx. a 30 min drive with its many beach resorts and long sandy beaches..

GROUND FLOOR

The entrance is into the living room with open fireplace. Stairs lead down to a spacious country style kitchen that is very well equipped. It has a large cooker, 4 ring hob, 2 ovens, 2 sinks, large fridge with ice maker, washing machine, dryer, freezer. There is a dining table and chairs to seat 10 guests. There is access from the kitchen to the garden. There is a patio furnished to dine outdoors with a table and chairs seating 12.

There is a half landing down a few steps from the living room. This leads to a four poster suite with its own en suite bathroom with walk in shower. This room also has a door to the garden.

FIRST FLOOR

There are 4 bedrooms. One is a pretty double bedroom with original oval windows and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. There are 3 twin bedrooms; one has its own en suite bathroom with a large walk in shower the other 2 twin bedrooms share a bathroom with a bathtub and shower above the bath.

GROUND FLOOR

The entrance is into a spacious open plan living room / dining room / kitchen. The kitchen area is very well equipped and has a central island as well as a 4 ring hob, large oven, large fridge, microwave, dishwasher and doors to the patio and garden. The patio is furnished for 8 guests.

BASEMENT

Stairs lead down to a basement level where there is a lounge / playroom with a ping pong table. There is also a laundry area with a washing machine, dryer and a door leads to the garden.

FIRST FLOOR

Stairs lead from the ground floor living room up to the first floor. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor. One is a double bedroom with its own en suite bathrooms with a walk in shower. There are 2 twin bedrooms that share a bathroom with a bathtub and a handheld shower.

GARDEN

The garden is laid out as a traditional Italian garden and is planted with jasmine, which cover the original garden walls and also has other flowers including lavender, rosemary and olive trees. There is a pond with a fountain and an avenue of cypress trees

These two villas share a pool (12 x 6 mts) that is located adjacent and just below Villa 1. It is fenced and gated for child safety and can be heated in cool weather. The pool also has a shallow ledge around it underwater for children. These two villas have their own private access and car park and also have a BBQ.

Villa 1 has a pergola and table to seat 9 /10 and a patio furnished to seat 12.

Villa 2 has a patio furnished to seat 8.
