Podere Montegonzi is a lovely stone farmhouse on two floors, located in Chianti and set on its own. It is located just outside the local village (200 mts) and an easy walk. From the house and garden there are lovely views to the Pratomagno hills across the valley and it is set in a large garden, which extends into olive groves to the front. The house is a perfect property for either a small or large family group looking for a beautiful setting, within easy reach of the renaissance city of Florence. The house is a perfect base, for exploring Chianti and visiting Florence and Arezzo, which are both within easy reach. The villa enjoys a variety of on site facilities close by at 200 mts, including an on site restaurant, reception and sitting room, massage room, private tennis court, stables and horse riding arena.
Podere Montegonzi is in a country location and yet close to the local village (200 mts) with a small local shop / bar / restaurant with pretty roof top terrace, which has amazing views. The larger local town of Montevarchi has a  large Hypermarket.
Podere Montegonzi is a perfect property if you want a country location from which you can explore Chianti. It is also within easy reach of Florence with fast trains running regularly from the local station and with a travel time of 30 mins. Local village 200 mts, larger village with all local shops at 3km, large town 14km.

Podere Montegonzi is a spacious house, which is perfect for a family group. The farmhouse has been restored using traditional materials and there are terracotta floors and beamed ceilings throughout. It has been furnished using top quality fixtures and fittings and is very stylish.

FIRST FLOOR

The first floor is also at ground level and accessed through a main door into the entrance hall. On the first floor there is a spacious living room with open fireplace and sat TV. Off the living room is a large, fully equipped kitchen with a large hob and oven, microwave and dishwasher. Off the living room are 2 bedrooms: one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and there are 2  bathrooms with showers. There is a landing with access to the staircase to the lower floor.
Outdoors on this level is a covered patio furnished with large table and chairs for outdoor dining.

LOWER FLOOR (GROUND LEVEL)

On the lower floor (ground level) There is an additional sitting room with French doors to the large front terrace and there are a further 2 bedrooms; one double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower. The twin room has a vaulted ceiling and French doors to the front terrace. The double bedroom has a large arched glass door, which also opens onto the front terrace. There is a laundry room to the side of the house with a washing machine and sink, ironing board and iron. It is accessed from the garden.

OUTDOORS

The villa is set in very large grounds and surrounded by olive trees and occasional fruit trees adjacent to the house. There are pretty views from both the house and garden and especially the pool area. Views are across olive groves in front of the house to the valley below and across to the Pratomagno hills opposite. The pool area sits off to the left of the house and is at a slightly higher level providing stunning views over the valley. There is a covered patio with table and chairs for outdoor dining, a ping pong table set in the shade and a furnished front terrace for relaxing outdoors. An outdoor BBQ is set off to the left of the villa
