Castello Voli is an elegant castle tower and adjoining villa
dating back to the 13th century. The villas was originally part of a fortified, family Borgo built as far back as 1210. Over time the Borgo and fortifications were partly lost and the oldest parts of the proeprty are the protective walls and orignal tower. The property is set in 115 hectares of private estate and is ideally situated just a few kms from the
town of Castelfiorentino. The villa is set in beautiful gardens with
panoramic views as far as San Gimignano in the distance. Castello Voli sleeps up
to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. It has a number of elegantly
furnished living rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The grounds have various
areas for eating or relaxing outdoors and a 10 x 5 mt swimming pool. The villa
also has its own chapel.
Castello Voli is a perfect base, for exploring Central Tuscany. It is within easy reach of the local town at 3km, Certaldo is (12km), Florence (40km) , Siena (62km), Pisa (70km), all set in beautiful countryside, it is a haven to enjoy for family groups or friends.

Lunch is served between 12.00 - 2pm, dinner is served between 7pm - 9pm, grocery shopping and any other service - €15 per hr, extra linen change - €10 per person, extra towel change - €5 per person

SLEEPS 12
On the ground floor, the front door leads into a large, cosy living room
with a fireplace. On the left, a beautiful marble staircase winds up to
the first floor. From the living room a corridor provides access to the
rest of the house. The spacious and fully equipped kitchen on the right
has terracotta flooring and beamed ceilings. Along the corridor, beyond
a guest bathroom, there is a sumptuous dining room with French windows
that access the courtyard. Further on, the Yellow living room with
fireplace has a reading room alcove with TV, computer with broadband
line and fax. To the right, the double bedroom of Federico Barbarossa
has an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath.
On the first floor, at the top of the marble staircase, a long corridor leads to
the bedrooms. On the right there is the Yellow double bedroom – again with
en-suite bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi bath. To the left there are two twin
bedrooms, the Celeste and the Pink bedroom - both with their own bathrooms, one
with shower and tub and the other with shower. Towards the end of the corridor
on the left a double bedroom with outside balcony overlooks the front garden. It
is next to its own bathroom with both shower and Jacuzzi bath. There is also a
laundry room with wardrobe and second staircase leading down to the ground floor.
The annex is a medieval tower standing alongside the villa (part of the
original castle) and has its own access. From the living room on the
ground floor a staircase takes you up to a double bedroom with its own
bathroom with shower. With a breathtaking roof terrace.
The "Limonaia" has been converted into a casual sitting room, with six arched windows offering sweeping views of surrounding countryside. Breathtaking roof terrace.
The property also has a XIII century chapel dedicated to Saint Bartholomew, restored in the XVIII century, which contains a XIII crypt.
The villa is planted with mature magnolia trees and shrubs and has ample space for relaxing outdoors. The pool is located on a terrace with sun deck below the main garden. There is a shower and fridge at the pool. There are beautiful, wide reaching views over the countryside, vineyards and olive groves. You can see San Gimignano on the horizon to the south.
